History of BUILD CONFERENCES…

The BUILD Men's Conference invited its first speaker, Mark Chanski, in 2013. He was followed by Greg Gilbert in 2014, Dr. Bruce Ware in 2015, Heath Lambert in 2016, Eric Bancroft in 2017, Jared C. Wilson in 2018, Mark Vroegop in 2019, Jonathan Leeman in 2020, Greg Gilbert in 2022, Daniel Davey in 2023, Tom Schreiner in 2024, Matt Emadi in 2025, and Ryan Fullerton in 2026. Each conference has been an encouragement to men all over West Michigan with the fellowship, singing, and the preaching of the Word. 

While we were seeing God use the BUILD Men's Conference to encourage and equip men in West Michigan, we also saw a need to do the same for the women.

In 2016 we held our first SALT Women's Conference with Jodi Ware. In 2018, Holly Stratton joined us. We welcomed Shannon Popkin to the 2021 SALT Women’s Conference in October, and most recently Carissa Belford in 2025.

It's our hope and prayer that God would use these conferences to build up Christian men and women through solid Biblical teaching that is rooted in the gospel and applicable for everyday life.
